Illiad is the interlibrary loan service offered by the College of Lake County. It is a free service offered to students, faculty and staff. It allows you to place requests from any computer.
Interlibrary loan allows you to request books, cds, dvds and articles that are not owned by CLC, from other libraries. When your requests come in, ILLiad lets you know by email. Books and discs can be picked up at the circulation desk in Grayslake, Lakeshore or Southlake. Articles are delivered directly to your computer.
To sign up for an ILLiad account, please click on the ILLiad icon (the picture of the helmet) and fill out the form. You do need to use your CLC email address.
Not really, once you sign up your account has been created and ILLIad will remember you. You'll just need to log in. You'll also be able to track the items you requested. You can check due dates, ask for renewals and view the articles you have received.
ILLiad for faster, easier interlibrary loans!
