It is now possible to receive your interlibrary loans on one of our Kindles. If you place a request and the book is available for download onto one of our kindles, the ILL office will call you to confirm that you are OK receiving the book in an e format. By using the Kindle for ILL, your loan will arrive faster. Once the book has been received and downloaded, you will be notified. You will then be able to pick up your loan at the circulation desk in Grayslake. The kindle will have to be checked out with your CLC library card and will be due back in three weeks.
Kindle Advantage: Even faster interlibrary loans in an easy to carry format. You will still have the ability to copy pages from the Kindle. The pages on the Kindle copy well on any copier. And don't forget, the Kindle is lighter in the backpack!
